Here is a beautiful cinquain by the developer of this lovely art form, Please see my article on Adelaide Crapsey in Thoughtful Thursdays – Did You Know (13) at: http://sporterhall.wordpress.com/2014.08/21/did-you-know-13/ Enjoy!
Listen.
With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp’d, break from the trees
And fall.
By Adelaide Crapsey
I agree with your comment, which bring a pleasant and soft melody!

My apologies for the late response.Thank you Mihrank for the re-blog! Yes, cinquains have definitely caught my attention lately. Sometimes the words seem to come in waves to me for this verse form and I have to quickly grab paper and write them down so that I can share with everyone.
